I did a post about stove-top beef salad a while ago. Today I am going to do a similar recipe using thinly sliced beef chuck steak with green garlic (also known as baby garlic). The lovely flavours of green baby garlic and sesame oil really enhanced the taste of this salad.

Yellow split lentils are also known as mung beans. They are relatively easy to cook and digest. There are different types of mung beans or yellow lentils available in the market. For this recipe, make sure you get "yellow split lentils". I usually don't find these in my local supermarket so I buy these from South Asian groceries.

In the recipe below, I am making yellow split lentil pancakes with mince. You can also make it vegetarian by simply removing the mince from the recipe and following the same preparation methods.

Perfect for a quick meal, these stuffed banana chillies are very easy to prepare. Only a few easy steps towards this simple creative dish with wonderful flavours.

This is a simple beef salad made on a stove flat-top pan. The charred flavour of the meat and tomatoes gives a distinct flavour and the spring flavour brings the crunchiness and freshness of green veg in this dish. Sesame oil adds an aromatic flavour in this dish. This beef salad goes well with rice or bread. This salad also makes a great accompaniment with drinks. I like it hot but you can reduce the amount of chilli if you like.

Today is the final of the World Cup 2010. I am really excited. I wanted to create a dish that shows the World Cup fever. I have named this dish "Raging Bull" and tried to use plenty of redness and spiciness to portray the fighting spirit of the Spanish team.

Whoever wins, it's going to be a great game to watch.
